Bangkok Noi Canal started from Chao Phraya River, north of Thonburi Railway Station flows up to the confluence of Chak Phra Canal (Bang Khun Si canal) and Khlong Lat Bang Kruai opposite Wat Suwan Keeri with a up to 40 meters width and 3.3 kilometers length.Klong Bangkok Noi was part of Chao Praya River until King Chai Rachathirat of Ayudhya to dig the canal from the Bangkok Noi canal to the Bangkok Yai canal can shorten the distance 1 day .Later, most of the water flows into the canal causing the canal to become wider and become to a new river as for the original river then the canal narrower into the Bangkok Noi canal, Chakpra canal and Bangkok Yai canal instead.
Nowadays, the Bangkok Noi canal is used for travel and tourism. The both sides of the canal are lifestyle of Thai people as children swimming, local people sitting in front of them house, an ancient European wooden house or Thai house style.
