Phra Sri Sanphet Temple was built in 1448.This temple was the most important temple as The Emerald Buddha Temple because it is a temple in the royal court and used for performing ceremonies of the King in Ayutthaya period. In addition, this temple is considered the prototype of the construction of the Grand Palace and Wat Emerald Buddha Temple.

Wat Chai Watthanaram or Chai Watthanaram Temple was built in 1630 by King Prasat Thong created to dedicate royal merit to His Majesty at his own home. But assumed that this temple was built as a memorial to the victory over the nearby city. The shape of the Phra Prang modeled from Angkor Wat temple Cambodia.
