Nakhon Ratchasima, also known as Khorat, is a municipality located in Mueang Nakhon Ratchasima District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province. It is a local administrative organization that houses the provincial hall. According to the National Economic and Social Development Plan, it has been designated as the main city of the Northeastern region and the center of trade, commerce, land transportation, and industry.
