Khao Sok National Park, the center of the “Rainforest Mountains”, is the largest rainforest in the South of Thailand. The area above the Ratchaprapha Dam reservoir covers an area of ​​approximately 738.74 square kilometers. The general topography is mountainous and limestone mountains, which are intricately high. It is a pristine rainforest and an important watershed of the Tapi River. It has a variety of ecosystems, including rare and endangered birds such as the green-breasted sagebrush and the striped sagebrush. There are also many rare plants, some of which are endemic, such as the white-backed palm, the Rahu palm, and the water lily.
Interesting tourist attractions in Khaosok National park are the Bang Hua Raet Waterfall-Ton Kloi Waterfall nature study trail, Sip Et Chan Waterfall, Wing Hin Waterfall, Tharn Sawan Waterfall, Mae Yai Waterfall, and the water lily viewing trail. On the Ratchaprapha Dam side, there are Khao Sam Kloe (Thailand’s Guilin), Coral Cave, Kraisorn Viewpoint, Nang Phrai Raft, Long Ka Raft, Kraisorn Raft, and Ton Toei Raft.
