Day 1: One Day Doi Pui Trekking (Hmong Hill Tribe Trail)

Itinerary:

–.00AM     Pick up from Chiangmai airport/bus station/train station.

14.00PM   Hotel check in time.             

First visit Doi Suthep Temple or Wat Phra That Doi Suthep (A.D. 1384).  The most celebrated temple in Chiang Mai. Containing a holy relic of Lord Buddha with challenging flight of over 306 steps, flanked by enormous Mythological Naga.  A panoramic view of the city can be seen from here at 1,053 above sea level. 

There are 306 steps to get to the temple, built in the 16th century.  In the old tradition, the way to reach the temple is by climbing the staircase.  Even though there is a funicular tram that carries passengers up the top, people still use this staircase in order to get up and down because most people believe that doing this brings good luck.

Traveling next to Doi Pui village or Hmong Village, our guide will share his knowledge about the Hmong community and the nature in the national park.

Lunch time at a local restaurant.

Start your beautiful trekking from Hmong Village to discover the natural wonders of the surroundings about 2-3 hours through the forest.

Walk uphill to impressive viewpoints On the top of “Doi Pha Klong: 1535 meters above SEA-LEVEL, you will enjoy the 360 degree panorama view.
