​​SDEHKT015: HALF DAY ELEPHANT AFTERNOON EXPERIENCE (DURATION 3 HOURS)

The Half Day program invites guests to engage in a more interactive experience, including elephant bathing and mud spa activities, fostering a deeper connection with these majestic creatures in a responsible and enriching environment.

A half-day package to the Elephant Sanctuary offers visitors an enjoyable opportunity to spend quality time with elephants in their natural home, as well as gain an insight into their history and behavior, and create cherished lifelong memories of their time spent with these amazing animals.

Visitors to the Sanctuary will witness stunning views of the surrounding jungle while interacting personally with friendly, happy elephants in a safe and sustainable environment.

On the morning of your visit, you will arrive at the Sanctuary, meet your English-speaking guide, and learn a little about the elephants.

After being allocated bananas and sugar cane to feed to the elephants, you will walk with your guide through the Sanctuary, where you will find free-roaming elephants and hear their individual stories. You can touch, feed, photograph, and interact with the elephants at your leisure while you learn about their lifestyle and behaviors.

After you have met all the elephants, you will accompany them to a nearby mud spa. Get muddy with the elephants as you apply a healthy cosmetic mud treatment to their skin. Next, you will walk with the elephants to a nearby pool and join them in the water for a refreshing bath. Help bathe and brush the elephants while they wade through and play in the water.

Once the elephants are clean, you can take some final photos with them, and then it will be time to part ways with your new friend and change into some dry clothes. Finally, enjoy a delightful Thai buffet before saying one last goodbye to your new friends before departing from Elephant Sanctuary.

We have 3 locations in Phuket: Kathu, Thalang, and Bangtao. We will choose the location based on the programs, number of visitors, and the location of your accommodation. If you desire to choose the location, please kindly tell us in advance.

• Interactive Experience: Be prepared for a hands-on experience, as this program includes elephant bathing and mud spa activities. These engaging activities help foster a memorable connection with the elephants.
• Health & Safety: All interactions are conducted under the guidance of our experienced handlers to ensure safety for both the elephants and participants.
• Children must be accompanied by parents / guardians.

• Our program will continue even in heavy rain. There will be no cancellations due to rain.

What do I need to bring?

Hat, Bathing Suit, Sunscreen, Insect Repellent, Towel, Change of Clothes, Walking Shoes, Copy of Passport Photo Page (or Passport Number)

Cancellation policy

• We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 1 day or less before the event.
• We will charge a cancellation fee of 50% if booking is cancelled 2 days or less before the event.
