08.00am Pick up from hotel with air-con car/van/bus to visit Borobudur Temple, Pawon Temple, and Mendut Temple.
Borobudur Temple: also transcribed Barabudur, is a 9th-century Mahayana Buddhist temple in Magelang Regency, near the city of Magelang and the town of Muntilan, in Central Java, Indonesia.
Pawon Temple: The original name of this Buddhist shrine is uncertain. Pawon means "kitchen" in the Javanese, which is derived from the root word awu or dust. The connection to the word "dust" also suggests that this temple was probably built as a tomb or mortuary temple for a king.
Mendut Temple: is a ninth-century Buddhist temple, located in Mendut village, Mungkid sub-district, Magelang Regency, Central Java, Indonesia. The temple is located about three kilometres east of Borobudur. Mendut, Borobudur, and Pawon, all of which are Buddhist temples, are located in one straight line.
