In the unique and mesmerising city of Ayutthaya, the ancient former capital of Thailand, you will have the opportunity to blend some high-grade exercise with a does of history and culture discovery.

In doing so you give support to local people and businesses(CBT). This means meeting and interesting with the people and experiencing the simple beauty of the Thai way of life in the real heart of Thailand.

On this trip, We can play our small part in showing concern for the global environment by carry our own bags instead of using a support vehicle, each bike is fitted with double panniers, and so reduce air pollution while you enjoy a relaxing and informative trip, accompanied by our knowledgeable and experienced cycling guide.

Day 1 Ayutthaya – Puk Hai – Lad Chado
08.00 Pick up from hotel and briefing the trip at office center where you can check out your bike and pack for your overnight at homestay. The tour begins with an exploration of the ancient island city of Ayutthaya experiencing the highlights of the Historical Park by bicycle.
Before heading out,we will watch an informative presentation that gives an overview of Ayutthaya at the multimedia information complex in the Tourist Information Centre in the old City Hall. Then ride to visit.
-Wat Mahathat
-Wat Phra Si Sanphet and the Royal Palace.
-Wat Lokayasutaram, with a Reclining Buddha dating back to Late Ayutthaya period.
Afterwards, we continue our journey on the back roads through the green scenery of Thailand’s rural heartland that is the central plain to explore many local communities, stopping for a picnic lunch along the way.We end our bike trail by cruising along a peaceful and ageless canal to our accommodation.(cycling today: 41 kms)
Experience true local Thai cuisine as we stay overnight with local family and help them prepare dinner. An experience to remember, you’ll be sharing your stories with your friends back home of how you made traditional food with local people.

Day 2 Lad Chado – Po Mok – Ayutthaya
Join the local people in a merit-making ceremony by offering food to the Buddhist monks as they make their morning alms round by small paddle boat. After breakfast, we will explore the local village before starting our journey back to Ayutthaya. We’ll spend another enjoyable day in the countryside visiting place such as wat Pramok to see one of the most beautiful reclining Buddhas in the region, a drum making workshop and the Royal Dolls Centre which is under the patronage of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, before finally arriving back in Ayutthya in the late afternoon (cycling today: 54 kms)
The real Thai way is to integrate travelers into the local community and so minimise the impact on their daily lives. By doing this you will experience the true Thai way of life, Thus allowing you the opportunity to learn about their culture first hand as will be treated like one of the family.
