Taling Chan Floating Market formerly known as “Khlong Chak Phra” is located in the center of Bangkok Metropolitan but it still has the traditional way of life. Then, the villagers work together to create a larger raft. In 1998, “Taling Chan Floating Market Community” was established by the villagers to help each other develop and maintain the environment.

“Taling Chan Floating Market Community” also concern for the environment of the floating market, not just to trade products but also take care of area which makes tourists can feel the nature and understand the traditional way of life of villagers along the canal. “Taling Chan Floating Market Community” named the activities called “Taling Chan Tour”

Over a period of 30 years, one importance factor that help Taling Chan Floating Market survive until is the unity of villagers who want to make the market becomes popular without destroying various ecological conditions both the floating market and Taling Chan local.
