Wat Phanan Choeng an ancient temple in Ayutthaya since before the establishment of Ayutthaya era. The history of the Wat Phanan Choeng no positive evidence showing exactly who is the author. In the past, in front of temple is Chao Praya river was whirlpool causing passenger ships past have frequent accidents. So Chinese merchants traveling by boat come to temple and pray for the safe escape of the trip with Buddha then people called “Sam Po Kong Ehud” or ” Luang Pho Sum Por Kong
